Carlos Morales - August 2005

Carlos is a multi-talented, award-winning and sports-oriented celebrity.

It's truly a big honor to have Carlos Morales grace our pages and to help celebrate our 3rd Year Anniversary this month.

Carlos is a multi-talented, award-winning and sports-oriented celebrity.

He started out his show-biz career in television in 1996 at the age of 19. Dancing his way into GMA Channel 7's “That's Entertainment”, he was part of the group called “Full Time Jents”. He was discovered by the host of the show German Moreno and from then on, his career rocketed. In 1997, he held the title “Face of the Year”, a Modeling Competition. That same year he was offered a movie role as a supporting actor to veteran actor Eddie Garcia in “Mison”. Since then, Carlos has done 30 movies for TV and the big screen in different roles from comedy, suspense-thriller, action, sexy and drama. In 2001, he won the Star Award for Best Actor in the movie “Laro Sa Baga”.

December, 2004 brought him a different kind of accolade in a different field. He championed the Slimmers Great Bodies Bodybuilding and Fitness Competition bringing home P200,000 cash. A very prestigious event, Carlos proved to one and all that he is not afraid to enter the world of Health and Fitness where physique, strength, endurance and discipline rules.

To capitalize on his new found fame, Carlos is now working on a TV show based on bodybuilding and fitness to be shown on ABC Channel 5 Saturdays 12noon called Pinoymuscle. He has conceptualized the show and will be hosting it together with guest hosts Bruna, an international commercial model and Mitch Hernandez, a seasoned host of Studio 23's Wazzup Wazzup. This reality based show is about athletes competing in various events, stunts and games showing their strength, endurance and physique. The show will air once a week for 13 weeks or 1 season starting November 5, 2005 through February 4, 2006.

He is currently shooting an action movie in a supporting role where Ronnie Ricketts has the lead role and will be an entry in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival in December. He is also on Channel 2's Kampanerang Kuba soap opera shown every night primetime.

Carlos wants to promote bodybuilding big time. This show is one avenue for him to educate the public what bodybuilding and fitness is all about. Through all his busy schedule, Carlos maintains his top-notch physique by training five times a week in the gym. He lives and breathes a healthy lifestyle—no smoking, no drinking and with proper nutrition and training.

Carlos reminds us of a young Van Damme, hungry and ready for action. He stands out in a crowd not because he is a well-known celebrity but because his aura exudes grace, gentleness and wholeness. Truly, we are privileged.
